TLT has made a number of appointments in Scotland as part of the ongoing expansion of the law firm’s real estate team in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The appointments will further broaden its offering in the sector with the addition of experts in financing and renewable energy.

Property finance specialist Fiona Armour has joined as legal director and future energy expert Monika Koczwara has been appointed as associate in the Glasgow office. Meanwhile, Amy Campbell and Caroline Grubb, who also specialise in future energy, have joined TLT’s rapidly growing team in Edinburgh as managing associate and associate respectively.

Head of real estate in Scotland, Brian Armour commented: “As the real estate sector in Scotland continues to expand, so to do the needs and requirements of our clients. This latest round of appointments will play an essential part in the growth of our Edinburgh office and help us continue to provide the highest possible quality of service to our clients. Fiona, Amy, Caroline and Monika’s individual specialisms and expertise will be invaluable additions helping to position the firm as a leader in real estate in Scotland, helping prepare our clients for what comes next.”

The announcement follows a period of sustained growth for TLT in Edinburgh following the recent appointments of commercial dispute resolution partner Keith Anderson, corporate partner Douglas Roberts, managing associate Dr Julie Nixon who joined the commercial team earlier this year and senior associate Nimarta Cheema who joined the firm’s national corporate team in Edinburgh.

Head of TLT in Scotland John Paul Sheridan said: “We’re committed to offering the best possible service to our clients. Fiona, Monika, Amy and Caroline are all rising stars in their respective areas of specialism in real estate. I’m confident they will play a central part in developing our offering in Glasgow and Edinburgh.”
