Within his new role at CMS, he will continue to deliver new investment and development opportunities for the firm’s highly-regarded commercial real estate team, and support clients in meeting current challenges including managing ESG and working requirements.

Fenella joins CMS as a partner within its Infrastructure, Construction and Energy (ICE) Disputes practice. She was previously at Burness Paull, where she led the firm’s Construction and Projects team for 13 years.

Fenella has over 30 years’ experience advising clients on construction and engineering dispute resolution, both internationally and domestically. A Legal 500 ‘Hall of Fame’ inductee, she is one of Scotland’s highest-regarded construction lawyers with in-depth experience in managing high-value complex disputes across a range of projects including roads, rail, energy, utilities, education, office, leisure and retail.
