ADAM Gilmore has been appointed as the new General Manager at Macklin Motors Glasgow Central Nissan, following the retirement of Robert Auld, who had been at the helm for over six years.
Adam, formerly the General Sales Manager at the dealership, is no stranger to leadership positions in the motor industry. Before joining Macklin Motors, he held the position of General Manager at Motorpoint in Glasgow.
Over the past six months, Adam has been working closely with Robert Auld, preparing for this significant transition.
With an impressive tenure of more than 16 years in the motor sector, Adam brings with him a wealth of experience and insights. His deep understanding of the industry, combined with his hands-on experience, makes him an ideal fit for this crucial role at Macklin Motors.
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Macklin Motors, said: “Adam’s appointment is a testament to his dedication and outstanding track record in the motor industry. We are confident that under Adam’s leadership, Macklin Motors Glasgow Nissan Central will continue to thrive.
“Robert Auld has left big shoes to fill, and we believe Adam is the perfect candidate to continue the legacy.”
On his new appointment, Adam Gilmore said: “I am deeply honoured to take on the role of General Manager at such an excellent dealership. I want to thank Robert Auld for his guidance and the entire team for their support.
“Together, we’ll drive Macklin Motors Glasgow Central Nissan to even greater success.”
