Established in Inverclyde in 2006, On-Site Scanning is forecasting annual sales this year of £1m. The company offers a complete document management solution and has recently doubled its workforce to 47 people who are engaged in high-security high volume scanning of paper-based documents, predominantly for NHS Boards and Trusts throughout the UK, as well as private sector clients.

By digitising their paper records, the company’s clients improve their accessibility and security, reduce administration costs, save space and enhance the levels of service they offer their patients and customers

Ross Campbell and Barry Higgins, joint managing directors of On-Site Scanning said: “Capturing data is essential in delivering efficiency and compliance. Our recent contract award for the digitisation of 28 GP Surgeries in nine months is testament to our proven track record and excellent long-standing relationship with NHS Trusts and Boards across the UK.

“In addition, our Subject Access Request (SAR) managed service is GDPR compliant and has been fully vetted by information governance and security managers on behalf of health boards and trusts across the UK as well as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Its organic growth shows its popularity with GP Practices across the UK.

Mr Campbell said: “Our existing client contracts require significant input from our highly-efficient colleagues and we value enormously their contribution to the company’s success. We are currently seeking further, new contracts which will help us sustain and, perhaps, increase the size of our workforce.

“We have worked closely with Ri to secure this move and are very pleased with our new premises which are modern, well-resourced and easy to access.”

Fiona Maguire, Chief Executive of Ri, said: “Riverside Inverclyde continues with great success both to attract new companies to the area and to assist the expansion of existing businesses like On-Site Scanning. This plays a vital role in the overall regeneration and economic development of Inverclyde and we are delighted to welcome Ross, Barry and their team to Kelburn Business Park.

“On-Site Scanning’s presence further boosts the variety of sectors thriving at Kelburn currently and I am sure Inverclyde will continue to be an excellent base for On-Site Scanning to grow. We wish the company every success for the future.”
