THE NWH Group, one of the UK’s leading recycling companies, has appointed Molly Herbert through the Entrepreneurial Scotland Saltire Scholarship programme – the third year in a row that NWH has supported the Entrepreneurial Scotland scheme which provides invaluable work experience through internships with some of Scotland’s top employers.

Following an initial donation of £10,000 to Entrepreneurial Scotland back in 2021, The NWH Group has now supported four budding young business people through the programme.

Molly, who is from Wantage, Oxfordshire and studying at The University of Edinburgh, has been appointed to join the marketing team. The internship will provide her with hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing including content creation, social media management, market research, and campaign planning.

Nicola Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at The NWH Group, said: “As a national waste management business, we firmly believe in investing in talent and providing opportunities for aspiring professionals to excel. We’re excited to embark on another year actively supporting a talented intern through this prestigious programme.

“Molly is a highly talented and ambitious individual who has demonstrated exceptional potential in her field. As part of our commitment to nurturing young talent, Molly will collaborate closely with our team to enhance our business’ outreach. Her presence and expertise will undoubtedly enrich our marketing efforts with her fresh perspective and drive, and we’re confident her creativity and enthusiasm will leave a lasting impact.

“By partnering with this renowned programme, we actively contribute to the development of Scotland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and support the next generation of business leaders. Together, we continue to invest in young talent, fostering a brighter future for both our business and the entrepreneurial community.”

The Saltire Scholarship programme aims to provide talented young individuals with immersive work experiences, fostering their growth and equipping them with the skills necessary for future success.

By actively supporting the initiative, NWH reaffirms its commitment to talent development, innovation, and a sustainable future.
