The United Capital team brings with it decades of experience in a wide range of industry sectors. Directors Graeme and Leanne Carling are the owners and founders of Scotland’s largest independent residential landlords, Carling Property Group, and have built up a network of high net worth individuals across Europe and the USA. Special advisors include: Daniel Pena, founder and chairman of The Guthrie Group and with a background in venture capital, property, insurance, manufacturing and IT, among other sectors; Robert Kiyosaki, author, entrepreneur and educator; Kim Kiyosaki, author, entrepreneur and real estate investor; and Syd Fudge OBE, who has a history in the oil and gas sector.
Graeme Carling said:
“We don’t want to take over someone’s business or replace the existing board or management structure. United Capital is all about investing in growth, supporting expansion through acquisition, and then planning an eventual exit from the business leaving it more efficient and profitable.
“We already have a number of potential acquisitions in the pipeline. United Capital is keen to connect with like-minded business people – those who are driven, ambitious and knowledgeable. It’s a case of ‘you bring the brilliance, we’ll back it’.”
