Glasgow-based digital agency After Digital has continued its American expansion with the appointment to design and build Honolulu Museum’s new online platform.
The After Digital team met the team from Honolulu Museum at last year’s Tessitura Learning and Community Conference, on the flight deck of the USS Midway. They got in touch several months later regarding a tender for the redesign, redevelopment and integration of their website with Tessitura.
The success comes on the back of a successful proposal bid for the redesign and the development of the Auditorium Theatre’s website, with the overall aim to make it a far more user-friendly experience. Members of the After Digital team have already visited the Auditorium Theatre team in Chicago to complete the initial discovery process. Work for this project is now getting underway and After Digital is focusing on creating a better user journey by optimising conversions and purchase paths with their own T-Bridge product, and giving the website the ability to host and manage high volumes of online traffic.
“We are genuinely thrilled to be working with After Digital on the redesign and development of auditoriumtheatre.org. Last month, we hosted some members of the AD team in Chicago for a enlightening and productive kick-off,” says Auditorium Theatre Chief Marketing Officer Colleen Flanigan. “Our website obviously represents our brand and mission to the world, and we look forward to working with AD on this important project for our theatre.”
After Digital’s Managing Director, David Johnstone, said: “There have been some landmark moments in our past, like winning our first client in London and I feel this is another one! Not only continuing to win clients in North America, but for an agency HQ’d in Glasgow to be working with such prestigious organisations, and to have a client halfway around the world, is a testament to the quality of work we are doing and how small the world is becoming!”
Honolulu Museum is also looking forward to the project, web project manager and content coordinator, Adele Balderston, said:
“We’ve been interested in working with After Digital since meeting their Digital Producer, Ashleigh, at TLCC2017, so we’re delighted to have her on our project team. During their proposal, After Digital completed a UX review, which we loved, only one other agency did it but it showed they understood us already from the RFP stage. It was still a split decision until we saw the bridge in action, that sealed the deal. Everyone at HoMA is very excited about the redesign and our switch to T-Bridge, we’re looking forward to our kickoff meeting.”
