EDINBURGH-based Zenith Group, has announced three strategic new hires, including the creation of a new Head of Marketing role. The announcement comes as the business, a leading provider of innovative specialist access and repair solutions, to complex issues in the most demanding of environments, marks its 20th anniversary.

The appointments will see Elaine Gilhooley, formally Marketing Manager at construction consultancy Thomas & Adamson, take on the newly created role of Head of Marketing. This addition to the senior leadership team highlights the continued growth and success of Zenith.

Zenith has also bolstered its engineering team with two new hires. Brad Findlay joins as Product Designer, bringing with him a range of specialist skills to develop Zenith’s design concepts into industry leading products – reinforcing the company’s ability to deliver innovative solutions to its clients. Haarith Bakkich joins in the role of Engineer, bringing a wealth of industry experience in the design and inspection of civil and structural infrastructure.

Colin McCurdy, Managing Director of Zenith, said: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do – they are the foundation on which our success is built. When Zenith was founded just over 20 years ago, I wanted to make it a place that provided everyone with the opportunity to build lasting, fulfilling careers. The success of Zenith is a result of hard work, commitment, and the talented team we have, which has grown our business significantly.

“Just as the capabilities of Zenith have changed over the years, so have our skills and knowledge requirements. Over time we have come to realise there is a bigger market share we could be taking advantage of, so the recruitment of a Head of Marketing, along with the engineering appointments, who can be at the forefront of the company’s next growth phase, is an exciting prospect. Elaine brings 30 years of experience from a diverse range of marketing roles, and I am delighted to have her onboard.”

Elaine Gilhooley, newly appointed Head of Marketing at Zenith, said: I am excited to be working with Colin and the exceptional people of Zenith. Something special has been created here; you can feel it as soon as you enter the building. Zenith’s success is a result of its incredible team, which is evident in the amount of repeat and referral business, however there is a bigger portion of the market yet to find out about us, which is where myself and my team come in.

“With Colin’s plans for the business, it is an exciting time to join Zenith. I am looking forward to utilising my skills and experience as Zenith looks towards the future.
