Michael McMillan, a 30-year veteran of the industry, joins as Managing Director. Steve Smith, who first invested in Silver Cloud in February 2015 and has played a key role in its recent growth, is appointed Chairman.

Anthony Quinn, who started Silver Cloud in 2014, moves from Managing Director to CEO.

Anthony commented: “We see an exciting future for Silver Cloud in the coming years. We’ve grown the business by building long-term relationships based on trust, and by offering a complete end-to-end package for clients with world-class service. Those things will continue to make us successful while we explore new products and markets. Michael will be a key part of everything we do, and I am delighted to welcome him to the board. His vast experience of IT Support will be particularly important as we intend to expand significantly in that area.”

Michael added: “Silver Cloud is a dynamic company, whose people are passionate and enthusiastic. I am excited to lead them through the next phase of the company’s growth.”

Steve Smith said: “We now have the right structure in place to scale locally, and expand within the UK. The next phase of our development will involve acquisitions as we increase both our geographical reach and the range of services we offer to clients.”

The firm had a turnover of £3.7 million in 2018.
