Social media agency marks anniversary with £1m turnover

SCOTTISH specialist social media agency Hydrogen is set to celebrate its fourth anniversary with the news that it has broken the £1m landmark in the past financial year.

The Glasgow-based agency, which was formed in August 2016, also achieved over 25% growth in the business year-on-year, following new client wins as well as growth in existing clients.

Mike Scott, Hydrogen managing director and co-founder, said: “We’d set ourselves ambitious goals for our fourth year of business, and despite having to revise things down slightly due to COVID-19, I’m thrilled that we managed to achieve that level of growth.

“Over the past year we’ve seen a raft of new clients and have continued to grow our team.

“In the last 12 months alone, we have expanded our team by a third to match demand, and plan to further strengthen our senior team before the end of 2020.”

Mike Scott co-founded Hydrogen in 2016 with technology director Daniel Rae.
