Scottish Building Society has strengthened its Board with the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director.
Bringing with him three decades of experience in financial services, Graeme Hartop joins the building society following the retirement of Shelia Gunn and Andrew Lee in September.
With a track record in delivering strategic development and growth, Graeme most recently served as Chief Executive of Edinburgh-based Hampden Bank from 2013 to 2024.
He has previously held senior leadership roles at Scottish Widows Bank plc, including Chief Executive, Deputy Managing Director and Finance and Operations Director.
Alongside his executive career, Graeme also contributes to the wider community, currently serving as Chair of Leuchie House, a national respite charity, as well as Vice President of Edinburgh Academical Rugby Club.
