THE NWH Group has been appointed by the industrial and safety supplies business, Scott Direct, to provide a full range of recycling and waste management services for its central Scotland sites.

The waste recycler will work with Scott Direct to support its plans to reduce its carbon footprint through resource recovery.

Rob Sayles, Managing Director at Scott Direct, said: “Sustainability is high on our agenda so finding a partner that can support our environmental objectives is critical. We’re confident that The NWH Group has the experience and capabilities to best support our waste management needs, and we’re looking forward to working together to reduce our carbon footprint.”

The NWH Group will be collecting and recycling plastic and cardboard, general waste, food, confidential office waste, as well as batteries and fluorescent bulbs.

As a diverse business, with many waste streams, Scott Direct has plenty of opportunities for innovation and we’re already working with the team to devise a textile recycling solution.”

The NWH Group has a large team of waste and recycling experts, and each member is highly experienced in the industrial and commercial industry.
