Robertson has recognised eight of its supply chain partners at the Robertson Supply Chain Outstanding Contribution Awards 2026, held at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday 23 September.
Now in its second year, the event brought together supply chain partners from around the UK. Constructionline was headline sponsor.
Leaders from across Robertson nominated partners for their performance and contribution, and the winners were chosen following judging by the Robertson Group Board and supply chain team.
Careys received the Outstanding Performance in Health & Safety Award, sponsored by Gap Group, for its health and safety standards on a number of challenging projects. Robertson said ensuring everyone goes home safe every day is its number one priority, and that Careys’ approach reflects that commitment.
JGM won the Contribution to Social Value Award, sponsored by Kingdom Timber Engineering. The award recognised its work across apprenticeships, vocational education, community projects and charitable initiatives, which has created opportunities for local people and supported construction skills development in Tayside.
FES won the Excellence through Collaboration Award, sponsored by Wernick Hire, for the second time. Its open, professional and collaborative approach stood out in a busy category.
Think Hire took the Sustainable Trailblazer Award, sponsored by Tri-Fix, for its commitment to more sustainable project delivery. Its plant and equipment solutions help project teams reduce waste, make better use of resources and minimise environmental impact.
The Innovation Award, sponsored by CCF, went to Njordair for a first-of-its-kind solution on a live hospital roof replacement project in Bolton. Its bespoke inflatable weather protection system replaced traditional scaffolding and sheeting, reducing costs and speeding up the programme while allowing critical hospital services to keep operating throughout the works.
Thompsons of Prudhoe received the Environmental Best Practice Award, sponsored by Bunzl Greenham, for its continued commitment to pollution prevention, resource efficiency and carbon reduction.
Hewitson won the Subcontractor (Large) Award, sponsored by Edmundson Electrical. It was recognised for its focus on safety, sustainability and collaboration on projects spanning live operational environments, healthcare and major research developments.
IDS Electrical won the Subcontractor (SME) Award, sponsored by Saint-Gobain, for its performance across more than 20 live Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rewiring projects for RFM.
