Rettie has hired Daniel Cohen as an Associate Director from Nicol Estate Agents, as the property firm looks to further strengthen its leadership team in the Southside of Glasgow to match market growth.
Cohen will be based at Rettie’s Newton Mearns office, working closely with Area Director Kay Blair who joined from Clyde Property earlier this year.
Rettie reported a strong quarter in Q3, benefitting from sales in the Southside up by double digits over home report values, with apartments and family homes selling for as much as 25 per cent above home report value.
Rettie’s Southside offices in Newton Mearns and Shawlands are seeing strong growth in the immediate localities and across Giffnock, Pollokshields, Cathcart, Strathbungo, and Queen’s Park.

Rettie opened its Newton Mearns office in 2015, with fellow Associate Director Alison Anderson based there since launch. Daniel Cohen joins former Nicol Estate Agents colleague Erica McFarlane at Rettie, with the Senior Sales Negotiator joining the firm in 2022.
Rettie has five offices in Glasgow – Glasgow City, Glasgow West End, Bearsden, Shawlands, and Newton Mearns.
