QUIZ clothing turnover races ahead after AIM listing

QUIZ, the Scotland-based womenswear brand has revealed sales have increased by 35.2% over last year.
New figures show that the company turned over £56.1m for the six months to September 2017 compares to £41.5m for the same period last year.
Underlying profit was up 31% from £3.7m to £4.8 m for the same period.
Online revenue at the ‘fast fashion’ retailer increased 204.6% to £13.8m and underlying international sales increased 26.1% to £10.0m with revenue from UK stores and concessions increasing 15.2% to £32.3m.
The firm raised £10.3m by listing on AIM in July of this year to help fund further expansion which has included five new stores and seven concessions opened by end of November 2017 with three stores in Spain.

“Current trading has remained strong since the period end and, underpinned by our strong collections, the Group enters the important Christmas trading period with good momentum.  The Board remains confident of delivering growth across all channels for the full year.”
