Henrique Gaio, Managing Director at Paradigm Fire Protection Services

Paradigm has appointed Henrique Gaio as Managing Director to lead its Fire Protection business which
incorporates its digital fire system testing technology Dry-Flo®.

Based at Paradigm’s HQ in The Netherlands, Henrique has over 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas,
Petrochemical, and Pulp & Paper Industries covering operations, management process safety, and
HSE at a corporate level for companies like SBM Offshore and Braskem.

Henrique’s role has been introduced to scale up its capability as a single point service company
incorporating Dry- Flo®, a unique technology that disrupts traditional ‘wet testing’ of fire systems by
digitalizing a ‘virtual medium’ to allow an accurate performance test that is verified by a DNV
Technology Certificate.

Paradigm’s CEO Julian Manning said, “I am excited to welcome Henrique to the team. His knowledge
and experience will certainly support the adoption of Dry-Flo® and our other Fire Protection Service
solutions globally. Henrique impressed me from our first meeting, his process safety and operational
knowledge allowed him to see the key benefits of Dry-Flo®; such as minimizing corrosion, electrical
outages, disruption to other activities, and environmental impact that are all headaches of traditional
fire system testing.”

Henrique adds, “I’m confident and excited to drive PFPS into new markets, especially as Dry-Flo® is
relevant in just about every market. I’m particularly excited about working with and promoting Dry-Flo®
as it solves the inherent fallout from testing fire systems, therefore ticking all the boxes for safety, asset
life extension, sustainability, and economics.”

Julian concludes, “Henriques appointment is one of many for Paradigm this year taking us into the top
250 fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. As a company, we are expanding our technologies
and growing our teams by adding the best people to the best teams. It’s a real pleasure to be part of
such a motivated team of talented and positive-minded people”.
