A FAST-GROWING Scottish business has strengthened its management team with a new appointment.
Angela Green joins Port Glasgow and Paisley-based security company Safer Group as Head of People and Culture.
Angela, from Greenock, is an experienced HR professional, after spending almost 10 years with Gourock manufacturing and engineering firm James Walker Devol and seven years with military veterans’ charity, Erskine Home.
Safer Group has around 50 staff and is enjoying rapid growth thanks to its revolutionary high-tech Safer Pod intruder detection system.
Angela said: “I’m delighted to be joining such an ambitious company at such an exciting stage of its development.
“Safer Group has so much potential to grow and I am delighted to have the chance to be a part of that.”
The company’s founder and chief executive, Ryan Clark, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Angela on board as we continue our push into new markets at home and abroad.
“We’re expanding fast but it’s vital that the cultural values which have taken us this far continue to be a driving force for the business and I know Angela will play a pivotal role in ensuring that.”
