Professional Services firm, Org, has appointed Mark O’Connor as Managing Director of its Data, Automation & AI practice where he will lead efforts to enhance clients’ Data, Automation and AI strategies. The addition of this practice compliments the Advisory, Business Systems, Digital Ecosystems & Omnichannel practices that already exist across Org’s Advisory & Technology Services.
With over two decades of experience in the public sector, technology, and automation industries, Mark brings a wealth of expertise to Org as it continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for businesses looking to innovate through cutting-edge technology.
Prior to joining Org, Mark served as the Head of Public Sector Practice for AI and Automation at ABP Consultancy and held leadership positions as Public Sector Lead for Ireland at UiPath, Public Sector Sales Manager as Three Ireland and UPC (now Virgin Media), where he spent over 16 years in leadership roles.

Mark is passionate about empowering teams through education in AI, automation and data, enabling them to drive innovation through advisory, managed services, and talent services. He has a proven track record of guiding public sector organisations through AI and automation journeys. Notably, he collaborated with the HSE in Ireland to establish their Automation Centre of Excellence during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he has worked with NHS England and the Cabinet Office to deliver large-scale automation projects.
Outside of his professional work, Mark is an active volunteer in his local community, coaching his son’s teams at Portmarnock AFC and Naomh Mearnóg GAA.
