LONG-established law firm Aberdein Considine has appointed media relations specialist Katie Spence as its new PR & External Affairs Manager as it seeks to boost its profile across Scotland and the north of England.

Spence, a former journalist with nearly 20 years’ experience in public sector, corporate and consumer PR, will work with Aberdein Considine’s Marketing Director Clare Neil as the firm continues to grow and expand.

Clare Neil said: “I am delighted to welcome Katie to Aberdein Considine. With an impressive track record in delivering first-class communications, her experience and insight will be invaluable assets to our team.”

Spence, whose most recent roles include award-winning consumer and corporate consultancy Beeline PR and the City of Edinburgh Council, where she managed the press office for several years, will be based primarily in Aberdein Considine’s Multrees Walk office in Edinburgh, as well as working periodically from the firm’s Aberdeen and Glasgow offices.

In addition to being Scotland’s largest solicitor estate and lettings agent, Aberdein Considine works with a broad range of commercial, public sector and private clients. The firm also operates a Scotland-wide team of mortgage brokers as well as a network of Independent Financial Advisers through its burgeoning AC Wealth business.
