Billy Green joins from Stewart Milne Group where he held various positions during 21 years at the business and has over 25 years of customer care experience within the housebuilding sector.

In his role, Billy is leading the region’s team to ensure every customer’s journey both pre and post-sale reflects Avant’s core values which focus on buyers enjoying all aspects of owning and living in their new home.

Commenting on his new role, Billy said: “I am excited to have joined a business that is committed to customer-first service and look forward to leading a team of passionate and experienced customer care professionals.

“As a team, we want to provide each buyer with the best possible experience at every stage of their homebuying journey. Our commitment to continuous improvement will help drive us forward as Avant Homes Scotland launches more developments.”

Edinburgh-based Avant Homes Scotland currently has nine live developments. These range from Craigowl Law in Dundee to Draffen Park in Stewarton.

Welcoming Billy to the company, Avant Homes Scotland managing director, Jim Wilkinson, said: “Customers are at the heart of everything we do and we recognise how important it is to make their homebuying experiences as stress-free and seamless as possible.

“Billy brings a wealth of experience in customer care, making him the ideal person to lead and inspire our regional team as we implement our vision of delivering quality homes for everyone.”

Avant Homes Scotland is part of the Avant Homes Group, whose house types are ideal for the private, rented, and affordable sectors. The company operates across Scotland, the north of England and Midlands from eight regional operating businesses.

At present, Avant Homes Group employs more than 600 people. The housebuilder is committed to implementing a multi-tenure strategy which delivers private for sale, private rented sector (PRS) and additional affordable housing.

This is in order to better serve customers and communities, particularly where the cost of living has increased and affordability is stretched.

Avant Homes Group’s ambition is to develop its multi-tenure business further across its existing regions and beyond, creating communities as well as providing employment opportunities.
