AFTER a stellar year for the home-grown gaming giant, Gamersheek has been awarded Online Collectible Retailer of the Year 2022/23 by the Scotland Prestige Awards.
Judges at the Scotland Prestige Awards were impressed by Gamersheek and its niche offering and hard-to-find collectibles, as well as its extensive range of video games, apparel, and gaming memorabilia, all available to gaming fans both online and in-store, and named the Glasgow-based retailer Online Collectible Retailer of the Year.
The Scotland Prestige Awards recognises the business achievements of small and independent businesses and individuals that consistently offer excellent products and services. Following a rigorous judging process, winners are selected on their service offering, quality of product, innovation, value as well as ethical and sustainable practice.
Gamersheek, which opened its first bricks-and-mortar store in Glasgow shopping centre, Buchanan Galleries in 2021, has seen immense growth since its launch in 2015, and has since become the largest official partner store in the UK for Japanese toy manufacturer, the Good Smile Company, making it the biggest supplier of the manufacturer’s popular Nendoroid figurines in the country.
