CarMoney has launched an academy to give people the skills they need to succeed in a career in finance. The Motherwell firm has already added 20 new recruits in the last month and plans to increase that number to 80 over the coming year.

CarMoney is a fast-growing company that helps drivers find the best finance option for their used car and works with car dealers across the UK. The company is currently recruiting for sales advisory roles to support its strategic goal of reaching £730 million in annual vehicle finance by 2029.

The Academy programme is designed to provide hands-on experience and tailored learning for a wide range of roles, including sales advisory, financial services, compliance, customer service and administration.

Commenting on the launch, Emily Meek, Academy general manager, said: “We are recruiting individuals who share our values and passion for sales excellence. The Academy is designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge to succeed and build rewarding careers in finance brokering. Early feedback has been positive, and we’re excited to scale the programme further in the coming months.”

Backed by the Peter Vardy Group, the company is increasing its footprint through organic growth and a growing franchise network. CarMoney is growing thanks to its technology-led model, which helps customers compare vehicle finance offers through an advanced digital platform.

The company’s technology platform supports a panel of over 20 lenders and provides real-time finance comparisons for consumers, utilising soft search technology that does not affect credit scores.

With a growing national franchise network and hundreds of dealers already using the platform, CarMoney is positioning itself as a leader in the UK’s evolving used car finance market.
