Empire launches new recruitment arm

HR, employment law and HSEQ specialists, Empire is to launch a specialist HR recruitment agency.
Empire, which has a presence in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness and London, will launch Empire Recruitment in December, led by HR recruitment expert, Claire Buchan.
Ms Buchan, business development and recruitment manager for Empire, said: “Finding the right HR professionals can be challenging for employers – particularly in a marketplace where there are lots of highly skilled individuals seeking employment.
“The new service aims to make life easier for employers, focusing on the expertise within Empire, underpinned by an advanced candidate online portal. As HR and employment law specialists, we understand what it takes to succeed in HR, and my background in HR recruitment brings the knowledge and contacts required to fill a role effectively.
She added: “Since the economic downturn, candidate and client experience with overloaded recruitment agencies has deteriorated. We intend to dramatically change the candidate and client experience and become the number one provider of HR recruitment services in the north-east. We will achieve this through our commitment to quality and transparency.”
Claire has more than eight years’ experience of HR recruitment having successfully managed entry level to executive appointments. She will be joined by Andrea Aspe, who also has an excellent track-record as a respected recruitment consultant in the fields of HR and business support.
Managing director, PJ Chalmers, said: “We believe the time is perfect for initiating a new HR recruitment service. Finding the right individual for a job takes a great deal of expertise, and choosing the right person in a candidate-rich market can be overwhelming. Claire and Andrea know what to look for in a candidate. Their expertise helps them both gain a quick understanding of the business requirements and their recruitment experience will enable them to swiftly identify the right candidate.
“Recruitment isn’t just about reading through CVs, it involves a complex analysis of skills and ability, as well as thorough pre-employment checks.”
