Cloud HR software supplier opens Glasgow office

Cloud HR software supplier Cezanne HR has opened a new Glasgow office.
Commenting on the reasons behind the opening of the new office, John Hixon, Cezanne HR’s R&D Director said: “Cezanne HR is at the forefront of the HR software sector and we have some ambitious growth targets which necessitates continual and innovative product development and access to the best possible talent.
“The UK right now, however, is a hugely competitive place to attract and retain top tech talent and we considered various regions of the UK before going ahead with the Glasgow option. Within commutable reach of our new office there is a pool of thousands of highly qualified and motivated IT professionals that can help us realise those ambitions.”
Another key factor in the decision to open the new office in Glasgow was the support from Scottish Enterprise – which is Scotland’s main economic development agency and a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government. It works with partners in the public and private sectors to identify and exploit the best opportunities to deliver a significant, lasting effect on the Scottish economy.
“Scottish Enterprise was very helpful to us in making the decision to open an office in Glasgow providing advice and guidance on the funding options, as well as recommending appropriate office locations,” said John Hixon. “They also provided feedback on our initial application and guidance on what was required ensuring the process was as smooth as possible.”
Managing Director of Scottish Development International, Paul Lewis, said: “We are delighted to support Cezanne HR as it creates a Glasgow base. This marks an exciting time for the business, with the landmark opening of a new Scottish premises and the international opportunities ahead. Cezanne HR will now join the many investors who benefit from our competitive business environment, strong skills base and effective support network, which help make Scotland the top performing location for inward investment after London.”
