Bennachie Leisure Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Kinetics Controls and Innovation
Limited Managing Director Kevin Watt to its Board of Trustees. Kevin Watt brings a wealth of
business experience and a commitment to the local community, making them a valuable addition to
the board.

Kevin Watt will support the centre in their new role by focusing on new corporate donations and
member subscriptions. He will work closely with the board and leadership team to further Bennachie
Leisure Centre’s mission of becoming an outstanding local community hub that offers health,
wellbeing, social, and arts activities to the region surrounding Bennachie, a local landmark mountain.

Bennachie Leisure Centre (BLC) is a community facility hub in Insch, Aberdeenshire. Serving a vast
rural area in Aberdeenshire, it offers health, wellbeing, social, and arts activities to the region
surrounding Bennachie, a local landmark mountain.

BLC provides the following programs and services:

∙health, fitness and wellbeing activities and classes
∙social clubs and groups for children, young people, families and older people or people in
need because of health or financial need
∙rural community social events such as community cinema, theatre, mum and toddler groups
(not otherwise available in rural locations we serve)
∙community cafe and meeting place for families, older people, people living in rural isolation
or older people
∙charity shop repurposing pre-loved items (reducing waste, recycling) and offering affordable
clothes and household items to people in our community
∙volunteering and skills programmes for people in the community
