Balfour+Manson announce a number of senior promotions

LEGAL firm Balfour+Manson has announced promotions in both its Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices. 

In the firm’s Edinburgh Office Peter Littlefair and Will Wallace have been promoted to Partner. 

Peter Littlefair joined Balfour+Manson in 2019 as an Associate specialising in litigation. He has acted for clients in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. Peter specialises in personal injury cases including, but not limited to, accidents at work, road traffic cases, public liability, and accidents abroad. A portion of his workload also includes industrial diseases and medical negligence claims.

Will Wallace joined Balfour+Manson in 2021 and specialises in residential conveyancing. Will provides assistance to clients for all matters related to residential and commercial property transactions.

Both Peter and Will are integral members of their teams and will be assets to the Partnership ensuring strong succession for the future.  

In Aberdeen, Family Law Specialist Sophie Pike has been promoted to Senior Associate.  Sophie joined the Family Team at Balfour+Manson in 2016. Sophie deals mainly with Child Contact, Adoption, Interdict and complex Cohabitation and Divorce actions.  

The firm has also introduced a new role of Senior Solicitor and is delighted to promote eight solicitors to this new position.

In Edinburgh, five solicitors have been promoted to Senior Solicitor – Alannah Jones – Medical Negligence Team; Kenzie Howard – Employment Team; Martin Lavery – Private Client Team and both Donde Thiam and Emily Deans in Family Law. Three solicitors from Aberdeen office are Katie Albiston – Family Law Team, and both Iona Campbell and Diana MacKenzie, Personal Injury (PI) Team.
