THREE of the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers female management have been presented with a series of top industry awards.

Chief Executive, Fiona Campbell, Company Secretary and Communications Officer, Melanie Allen, and Director, Tara Scott, were all ranked among the Top 100 Women in Tourism 2022.

The prestigious list, compiled by Women in Tourism, recognises the hard work, dedication, and vision of women who are doing amazing things in Scotland’s tourism industry.

Fiona was also recently awarded the Pioneer trophy at the Shortyz awards, commonly referred to as the “Oscars for the short-term rental industry“, at a ceremony in London.

The ASSC Chief Executive was given the award in recognition of her being “a business leader with exceptional vision and leadership”, according to the event organisers.

Everyone involved in the ASSC are incredibly proud of Fiona, Tara, and Melanie for their achievements and thanks them for all their hard work on behalf of Scottish self-catering.

Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers Chief Executive, Fiona Campbell, said: “My colleagues and I are thrilled to have received these awards, they are very important to us. We work brilliantly as a team and I’m proud to have such diligent, conscientious, and supportive colleagues.”

“As our industry recovers from the impact of COVID-19 and continues to deal with the other issues we face, I am confident that, with my teammates by my side, we will continue to do Scottish self-catering, as well as the wider tourism industry, proud.”
