The category was hotly contested, with new entrants Yolt, Cleo and Plum also vying for the title. This is a surefire sign that Open Banking is delivering a whole host of new innovative services which benefit UK consumers. To further support this, challenger Bank Starling took home the awards for Best Bank and Best Current Account.

Commenting, Money Dashboard CEO Steve Tigar said:

“This is such an exciting time for independent fintechs like Money Dashboard. Tens of thousands voted for their favourite products at this year’s British Bank Awards. Hundreds of thousands are embracing new innovative fintech products and are benefiting from cheaper, faster and better financial services.

“We’re just getting started. We’re on a mission to help millions of consumers enjoy their money more with our ever-improving app.”
