Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has announced three themes for its 2027 Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Conference at Aberdeen’s P&J Live.

Taking place on February 24, the event will focus on Investigate, Improve and Implement, examining how organisations can learn from incidents and translate those lessons into changes in day-to-day operations.

The conference is aimed at industry leaders, HSE professionals, frontline teams and technical experts. Sponsored by Harbour Energy and NEO NEXT+, it will explore approaches to investigating the root causes of incidents and using evidence and shared experience to strengthen systems, leadership and workplace culture.

The programme will also address emerging risks, challenge existing approaches and examine how lessons can be applied consistently at every level of an organisation.

Mark Wilson, OEUK’s Energy Operations Director, said:

“Sustained HSE improvement depends on our ability to learn well and act decisively. Investigate, Improve and Implement captures that journey: understanding the causes of incidents and performance trends, identifying effective solutions, and making sure changes are embedded in day-to-day operations.

“By bringing people together to share evidence, experience and practical approaches, this conference will help our industry strengthen leadership, culture and processes and deliver measurable improvements for people, the environment and operational performance.”
