rradar, one of the UK’s leading law firms, is proud to announce that it has been named a finalist for the Innovation Award at the Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2025.

Building on its 2024 Innovation Award win, the 2025 nomination recognises rradar’s continued commitment to state of the art innovation in both its digital tools and its forward-thinking approach to delivering comprehensive legal services, compliance expertise, advice and risk management.

The Herald Law Awards of Scotland recognise outstanding law firms and suppliers across the country. rradar’s Glasgow office, one of its key strategic locations, earned the shortlisting for its significant contributions to the company’s unique legal services model. As a national legal enterprise, rradar merges digital innovation with human expertise to provide proactive legal support and client education, helping thousands of businesses confidently navigate complex regulatory environments.

rradar’s Head of Scotland Alastair Gray said: “I am delighted that we’ve been included among the finalists for the Innovation Award. The Herald Law Awards of Scotland are one of Scotland’s leading legal events and our shortlisting recognises that we put innovation front and centre of the way we work and deliver client services.

“We’re proud to support thousands of clients, within Scotland and across the UK, who come to us for advice, guidance and representation and this shortlisting reflects the highly skilled work we do to help them manage legal risk. rradar continues to redefine what it means to be a modern, client-focused law firm.

“In a world where law firms are under increasing pressure to win and keep business, anything that lifts a firm out of the ordinary will count in its favour. Today, that means innovation in both practice and thought. That’s the rradar difference.”

With a bold vision to redefine how businesses access legal and risk management services, rradar has become a multi-disciplinary powerhouse. Its innovative model integrates digital and human elements to create an end-to-end service that shifts businesses from a reactive ‘fix’ mentality to a proactive ‘prevent’ mentality. The comprehensive solution encompasses proactive risk prevention, reactive legal support and strategic consultancy, helping over 147,000 businesses manage risk effectively.

rradar employs more than 270 experts across seven offices, including Hull, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow, Clitheroe, London and Leicester, serving clients ranging from SMEs to national enterprises. Its full-service legal practice areas include employment law, business crime and regulation, cyber and data law, intellectual property, health and safety and commercial disputes.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 7th November 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Argyle Street, Glasgow.
