CLOSE Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has appointed Michael Barr as an Investment Director in its Edinburgh office, to further support the expansion of its investment management service for high net worth clients in Scotland.
Michael joins CBAM from Brooks Macdonald, where he spent seven years as an Investment Manager and Director. Prior to this he worked in the Channel Islands for four years at Ernst & Young.
Michael holds a Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification and a Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

CBAM now employs 110 people in Scotland.
