FRESH from winning its first ever contract to deliver internal audit services to a housing association in England, Wylie & Bisset, Accountants and Business Advisers, has landed a second contract for an English housing association just weeks later.

Already a leading provider of internal audit services for housing in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the firm recently won a contract with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.

Now Wylie & Bisset has landed a new contract with Ongo Homes, the largest housingprovider in North Lincolnshire and neighbouring areas, offering quality, affordablehomes for rent and sale.

The contract will see Wylie & Bisset provide a comprehensive range of internal audit services to Ongo Homes, encompassing governance, risk management and added value reviews, including reviews of its maintenance programme, Health & Safety and IT, all fields within which Wylie & Bisset boasts in-house specialist expertise.

Commenting on the win, Stephen Pringle, internal audit director at Wylie & Bisset, said: “We are delighted to secure this second major contract, which bolsters our position in the internal audit market in English social housing,” he said.

Graham Gillespie, Partner and Head of Internal Audit at Wylie & Bisset, added: “Having built our presence in Scotland and Northern Ireland over a number of years, we’re thrilled to secure our second win within the social housing sector in England in a matter of weeks.

“These contracts build on the opening of our Manchester office three years ago and will be serviced through a mixture of on-site and remote work from our Glasgow and Manchester offices.”
