An Ayrshire coast hotel has been crowned ‘Boutique Spa Hotel of the Year’ at one of the UK’s most prestigious award ceremonies in the national beauty calendar.
SimpsInns’ The Gailes Hotel & Spa on Marine Drive in Irvine was awarded the top accolade at this year’s British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) Annual Awards 2024, which were staged at the Fairmont Windsor Hotel, near London.
Known for its rigorous judging and standards of high quality, entering the BABTAC and CIBTAC awards is a must for all therapists looking to progress their career or business. CIBTAC is one of the longest-established awarding bodies within the spa, health and beauty sector.
Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, The Gailes Hotel & Spa is continuing to reinforce its reputation as Ayrshire’s leading luxury spa and wellness destination, offering a collection of over 50 personalised treatments, day spa packages and overnight spa breaks.
The Gailes Hotel & Spa was up against three other spa hotels across the UK for the top award of ‘Boutique Spa Hotel of the Year’ 2024.
Lee Simpson from SimpsInns, which owns and operates The Gailes Hotel & Spa, said:
“We’re extremely proud to have been recognised by UK spa, health and beauty industry experts as ‘Boutique Spa Hotel of the Year’ 2024.
“This latest national industry accolade for The Gailes Hotel & Spa really helps to reinforce our reputation as Ayrshire’s leading luxury spa and wellness destination.”
Lee added:
“We’re committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations and are regularly investing in our hotel, spa and leisure facilities.
“Here at The Gailes Hotel & Spa, our team of beauty and hospitality professionals go the extra mile to create the perfect oasis to escape the stresses of everyday life and offer people the opportunity to take back time for themselves to relax, rejuvenate and renew.
“Plans are already underway to expand the Si! Spa brand to The Waterside Hotel at West Kilbride with the launch of our new £3million sea view spa in spring 2025.”
Renowned skincare products used in Si! Spa treatments include ishga and ESPA. ishga’s range of innovative products are made using the finest hand-picked seaweed from the Scottish Hebrides, while ESPA’s formulations contain unique combinations of plant extracts, marine actives and essential oils to create the most effective, natural products which protect the long-term health and beauty of the skin.
