Thorntons strengthens dispute resolution team in Glasgow

FULL-service law firm Thorntons has appointed a new Partner to its growing Glasgow team, where the firm is opening its first permanent office.

Stephanie Carr, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of dispute resolution, insolvency, commercial litigation and debt recovery, advising and representing clients in a number of courts and tribunals across Scotland.

She is accredited as a specialist in Insolvency Law by the Law Society of Scotland, having been re-accredited on two occasions, and deals with contentious personal and corporate insolvency cases.

Stephanie, who lives in Glasgow, has been operating at partner level for 18 years, and 

acts for a wide range of clients, including individuals and companies, creditors, insolvency practitioners, directors and debtors. She has experience of advising and representing financial institutions, landlords, tenants and governmental agencies.

Stephanie is ranked as an individual in Chambers & Partners and is a recommended lawyer in Legal 500 for Insolvency and Restructuring.
