Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has announced strategic senior leadership changes in Scotland as the business embarks on the next phase of innovation and growth.

Matt Willcock will become Managing Director – Scotland on 1 January 2025, taking over the reins from David Smith who has been at the helm for two years. David will continue to be part of the senior leadership team, taking on a new role focusing on capital markets and development spanning offices, industrial & logistics, retail, and living sectors.

Joining CBRE in 2012, Matt has held key leadership roles across the London and regional business but more recently in Scotland, playing a pivotal role in driving a client centric culture, implementing exciting growth strategies and fostering high performing teams.

In his new position, David will deepen integration with CBRE’s global network and leverage international connections to further elevate Scotland’s attractiveness to capital. Stevie Newlands will continue to lead the Investment Team.
