Scullion LAW is thrilled to announce that both our Family Law Team and Criminal Law Team have been shortlisted as finalists at the prestigious Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2025.

This is the second year in a row Scullion LAW has reached the finals in these categories, underlining our continued excellence and commitment to our clients.

Now in their 21st year, the Herald Law Awards celebrate the very best of Scotland’s legal profession, recognising firms and individuals who demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and client care. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 7th November in Glasgow, bringing together leading firms from across the country for an evening of celebration.

Scullion LAW is proud to be one of Scotland’s top-rated firms, with both our Family Law and Criminal Law departments achieving consistent 4.9/5-star ratings on ReviewSolicitors, based on over 2,000 client reviews. This independent feedback reflects the trust clients place in us, and the passion our teams bring to every case.

Head of Criminal Law, Kris Buchanan, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised. This shortlisting is a testament to the dedication, hard work and relentless pursuit of excellence that our team delivers for every client. To be finalists for two years running is an honour we don’t take lightly.”

Head of Family Law, Judith Higson, added: “I am so proud of my team for the incredible work they do, often in highly complex and sensitive cases. To be shortlisted reflects our commitment to supporting families with empathy, expertise and care. We can’t wait to celebrate alongside Scotland’s finest legal talent at the awards in November.”

This double shortlisting reinforces Scullion LAW’s reputation as one of Scotland’s leading firms, with specialist teams consistently delivering exceptional results for clients and setting the benchmark for legal excellence.
