The renowned traditional country inn, Balmoral Arms – part of the Crerar Hotels Group – has appointed Dayle Nicoll to take on the highly coveted role of their General Manager.
Dayle has taken the reins at the property – located in the royal town of Ballater – with fifteen years’ experience in the industry at some of Scotland’s most recognised and well-loved hotels and resorts.
Prior to joining Balmoral Arms, Dayle was previously Operations Manager of Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa, considered one of Scotland’s best golf hotels, and helped oversee the recent £3 million investment. During his time in Carnoustie, Dayle was part of the team that helped deliver many prestigious golf events, including The Open and Senior Open. Before this, Dayle also worked at Malmaison Hotels and The Invercarse Hotel.
Poignantly, Dayle also held a position at Dunkeld House Hotel back in 2018, which was acquired by the Crerar Hotels Group just last year, making his new role feel all the more full circle.
