Munro’s Travel is celebrating a milestone achievement, with three of its team members shortlisted for the 2025 Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) Sparkle Awards – the highest number of finalists the company has ever achieved.
The awards, which take place on Friday 5 September at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow, recognise the outstanding contributions of front-line travel agency staff across Scotland. Judged by representatives from award sponsors including Delta Airlines, Travelsphere, Stuba, Glasgow Airport, Gold Medal, Loganair and Travel Matters, the Sparkle Awards shine a light on individuals who go above and beyond in delivering exceptional service to clients.
This year’s Munro’s Travel finalists are:
Jack Edwards – Agency Support Award (Non-Reservations)
Jack’s nomination recognises his exceptional contributions to IT over the past year. He developed a technical solution – much of it in his own time – demonstrating his dedication, innovation, and commitment to continual learning. Recently promoted to Head of IT, Jack’s impact has been felt across the business.
Kelsey Adams – Rising Star of the Year
Kelsey’s shortlisting reflects consistent excellence and outstanding client feedback. Multiple commendations, including a particularly exceptional recognition from an industry partner, underline her professionalism. Her recent promotion to Fully Comp Business Travel Consultant recognised the high standards she brings to her role.
Gemma Spars – Corporate Travel Manager of the Year
Gemma’s nomination celebrates her outstanding delivery of customer service training this year. Praised for her engaging, well-presented sessions and the positive feedback received from colleagues and team leaders, she has inspired and supported those around her.
