Saranac Partners (“Saranac”) the private office for individuals and families, is pleased to announce that Brent Seery and Michelle Witter have been appointed as Co-Chief Executive Officers. Furthermore, the firm is delighted to announce that Peter Charrington and Mark Werner have been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Saranac Partners was founded in 2017, built around the needs of discerning, wealthy individuals and families. Since that time the business has grown to oversee more than £6.5bn in client assets. As the business enters its next phase of growth, the Board has appointed Brent and Michelle to lead its strategic expansion and development. Brent and Michelle have been part of the senior leadership of the business since its earliest days and will build on the strong foundation and unique ethos within the business.

Brent joined Saranac Partners in 2016 and heads the firm’s investment team. Brent joined from Barclays where he led the UHNW investment proposition and formerly worked at Morgan Stanley. Michelle is a founding partner of the firm and currently oversees the client facing teams within the business. Prior to joining Saranac Partners, Michelle was a Managing Director at Barclays Wealth. Brent and Michelle will continue in their current roles heading up the investment and client teams respectively and will jointly oversee the remaining activities within the business.

In addition, the firm has appointed Peter Charrington and Mark Werner to the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Peter Charrington served as Chief Executive Officer of Citi Private Bank from 2014 to 2020. He spent 27 years with Citi in various roles, including CEO of the UK Wealth Business and CEO of North America. Since leaving Citi, Peter is now Senior Partner with the Nexus Luxury Collection, based in the Bahamas. He is a Senior Advisor to One Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in New York and serves on a number of Boards including, Avaloq Group in Switzerland and Amey in the UK.

Mark Werner co-founded Amherst Pierpont Securities where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman. Mark previously served as CEO of Bank of America Securities at the Bank of America Corporation and began his career at J.P Morgan where he ultimately served as Vice Chairman and Head of the North American interest rate markets, futures, and options businesses.

After a long tenure, Jeff Walsh will be stepping down from the Board.
