Leading independent property advisory firm, Lismore Real Estate Advisors is
growing its Edinburgh-based operation and is proud to announce the promotion of
Chris Thornton to Senior Associate and the appointment of Chrissie Clancy as
Surveyor.

These strategic personnel developments reflect the firm’s continued growth, its
commitment to nurturing and promoting talent and strengthening its position within
the commercial investment advisory market.

Promoting Excellence: Chris Thornton, who joined the firm in November 2020, has
been an integral part of the team, contributing to key transactions and fostering client
relationships that have helped drive the firm’s success. In his new role as Senior
Associate, he will take on greater responsibilities and be involved in guiding the
firm’s strategic initiatives.

“I am thrilled to step into this new role at such an exciting time for Lismore,” said
Chris Thornton. “The opportunities I’ve had to grow here have been exceptional and
I look forward to contributing further to our clients’ success and the firm’s bright
future.”

Welcoming New Talent: Chrissie Clancy undertook a work experience programme
with Lismore whilst a student and joins the team from Knight Frank, where she has
worked for the past three years as a graduate surveyor, passing her APC earlier this
year. She will help supporting the firm’s expanding client base and contributing to its
innovative investment strategies.

“I’m delighted to join Lismore and to become part of such a dynamic and forward-
thinking team,” said Chrissie Clancy. “I’m eager to bring my skills to the table and
contribute to the firm’s continued success as it solidifies its position as a market
leader.”

As Lismore approaches its fifth anniversary, these appointments underscore the
firm’s dedication to recognising and fostering talent while enhancing its operational
capacity to meet the growing demands of the market.

Director, Colin Finlayson commented: “These appointments reflect the growth and
evolution of Lismore over the past five years. Chris Thornton’s promotion is well-
deserved and highlights our commitment to rewarding excellence, while Chrissie
Clancy’s appointment brings fresh perspectives and energy to our team.

Together, they will play pivotal roles in shaping the future of the firm.”
Since launching in March 2020, Lismore has achieved significant milestones,
including advising on over £1.5bn of key Scottish investment transactions and has
earned a reputation for delivering exceptional results and delivering the best possible
service and advice to clients.
