ICONIC Resourcing, a leading professional services recruitment firm based in Scotland, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Scott Eccles to their Accountancy & Finance team. Scott joins as Principal Consultant, bringing a wealth of experience in qualified and senior finance appointments, including roles such as Financial Controllers, Heads of Finance, Finance Directors, and CFOs.

With a remarkable surge in growth, Iconic Resourcing has nearly doubled its team since July 2022, now boasting a talented roster of 17 employees. The past few months have witnessed the arrival of key individuals across various divisions, further strengthening the company’s expertise and market reach. Andrew Inglis joined as Business Manager for the Legal Division,  Jacqueline Atkinson as Legal Specialist, Amanda Kho strengthened the Marketing division, Becky Taylor joined the HR team, and Cora Wong assumed the role of Operations Manager.

Hannah Green, Co-Founder of Iconic Resourcing, expressed her excitement about the robust growth and team expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Scott Eccles and our new colleagues to Iconic Resourcing. Their expertise and passion will further enhance our ability to deliver exceptional recruitment solutions to our clients.”

In addition to their commitment to providing top-tier recruitment services, Iconic Resourcing is active in networking with the entrepreneurial and SME community bolstering the Scottish economy. Both Co-Founders of the company recently participated in the government-funded Help to Grow programme, attending the Help to Grow: Management Course. Last week, they joined an alumni event in Glasgow, where they met with SME leaders from various sectors who have also benefited from the programme. This initiative has provided valuable insights and tools to support the growth and development of businesses in Scotland.

During a period of economic turbulence, companies have faced challenges in their recruitment plans. Candidate availability has declined, albeit at softer rates compared to previous years, due to general skills shortages and workers’ increased hesitancy to change roles in light of the economic climate. Despite these challenges, Iconic Resourcing continues to witness a strong demand for talent across its four divisions, demonstrating the ongoing need for recruitment solutions in the Scottish market.

Lauren Jow, Executive Search lead and Co-Founder, commented, “As a proud participant of the Help to Grow programme, we are dedicated to supporting the Scottish economy and the growth of local businesses. We remain committed to connecting exceptional talent with our clients and driving positive outcomes for both employers and candidates.”

As Iconic Resourcing continues to make significant strides in the recruitment industry, their dedication to delivering tailored solutions, exceptional talent, and fostering lasting partnerships sets them apart. Their recent team expansion, coupled with their commitment to expansion in Scotland, further solidifies their position as a leading recruitment firm in the region.
