Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the return of the prestigious ICON
Business Awards, now in its 22nd year, taking place on Friday, 19th September 2025 at the
historic Greenock Town Hall.
Recognised as Inverclyde’s most distinguished business awards ceremony, the ICON Awards
2025 will celebrate the innovation, resilience, and success of local enterprises and individuals
who have made exceptional contributions to the business landscape over the past year.
This year’s ceremony promises to be the most exciting edition yet, featuring a mix of beloved
categories and new additions that reflect the evolving spirit and ambition of Inverclyde’s
business community.

“This event continues to uncover incredible stories of determination, innovation, and leadership,”
said a spokesperson for the awards. “2025 marks a special chapter, with expanded categories
and high-profile attendees underscoring the impact Inverclyde has across the region and
beyond.”
The ICON Awards 2025 will welcome senior UK and Scottish Government Ministers, including:
● Richard Lochhead MSP, Scottish Government Minister for Business & Employment
● Kirsty McNeill MP, UK Government Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland
Richard Lochhead MSP commented:

driving Inverclyde’s business sector at the ICON Awards. These awards shine a

Kirsty McNeill MP added:

They will be joined by local elected officials, senior figures from Scottish Chambers of
Commerce, and civic leaders — a strong show of support for Inverclyde’s growing reputation as
a dynamic economic hub.
Hosted by Jennifer Reoch, RTS Scotland Award-winning TV presenter and broadcaster, the
evening will include:
● A glamorous black-tie ceremony
● A 3-course dinner

The Lifetime Achievement Award will once again be presented by the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce.
