Ferryden Early Learning Childcare (ELC) class is proud to have achieved the Digital Learning and Teaching in Early Years Award. Following a successful HMIE inspection, the setting was selected to pursue this award to further increase the use of digital technologies to enhance learning experiences for children.
Staff in the setting now feel confident to use digital approaches and are more aware of what this can look like in all learning spaces in daily practice. For example, they explore the weather, plan trips, and use timers in the kitchen.
Digital learning now features in their weekly planning to enhance children’s learning and interests. Staff are excited to continue this work, ensuring digital learning continues to enrich children’s experiences.
