CRC Evans has announced the appointment of Duncan Holland as Corporate Development Director.
Reporting to CEO Frederic Castrec and supporting the group’s Executive Committee, Mr Holland will play a key role in delivering CRC Evans’ ambitious growth strategy, working closely with senior leadership towards the achievement of key objectives, including the group’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Mr Holland’s appointment is a further strengthening of the CRC Evans team following the merger of four market-leading organisations earlier this year. The merger saw Pipeline Technique, CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Pipeline Induction Heat and Global Project Services unite under the CRC Evans banner.
Mr Holland said: “This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of the CRC Evans business. I’m delighted to join the team at such a pivotal moment and play a part in the next phase of growth for the company.
“CRC Evans has a formidable position in the welding and coating sector, and I look forward to helping streamline its operations, to build a sustainable and profitable business for the future.”
Frederic Castrec, CRC Evans CEO, said: “Duncan is an important addition to the CRC Evans team, accelerating our ambition to be the world’s leading provider of welding and coating services for the energy and wider infrastructure sectors as the global decarbonisation transition gathers pace.
“I look forward to working with Duncan as we expand our market-leading services and technologies across new markets and grow our business globally.”
Mr Holland previously held the position of Legal and Commercial Director for Capricorn Energy PLC (formerly Cairn Energy PLC), a FTSE 250 oil and gas company based in Edinburgh, where he managed various key functions for the Group’s worldwide operations.
