ClearSky Logic has made a duo of commercial hires as the technology consulting and implementation group continues to see AI power its growth. Darren Auld-led ClearSky is expected to report doubled annual revenue next month, with CEO Auld noting a shift from supporting VC-backed startups to larger corporates with sales of between £10 and £100 million.
Darren Auld, CEO and Co-founder of ClearSky Logic, said: “What we’ve found, and how we’ve iterated as a business, is that SMEs to larger corporates who successfully implement AI are experiencing exponential growth, and we’re supporting them right through that journey.”
John-Paul Hughes has joined ClearSky as Head of Commercial, joining from digital transformation specialist Equator, with Georgina Hart also joining ClearSky’s commercial team, as Marketing and Events Manager.
Darren Auld commented: “John-Paul joins us at an inflexion point for ClearSky, as we move further towards supporting larger companies around their AI and tech transformation, and he brings the right mix of experience in that space that we need right now. Georgina is a leading creative, and we’re excited to see what she will bring to the business.”
ClearSky Logic’s survey of Scottish SMEs, carried out during Q4 of 2024, found that while 90 per cent of SME leaders planned to invest in AI, only just over half of respondents had invested in artificial intelligence at that point.
Darren Auld added: “As a tech enabler, what’s critical is understanding that AI is not just another tool; it’s a field lever for entire sectors. The businesses that move first here are going to gain massive, often irreversible advantage. Not moving at all? That’s simply the biggest risk.”
