Blackadders promotes six newly qualified solicitors and recruits eight new trainees

SCOTTISH legal firm, Blackadders, has announced that six newly qualified solicitors have been promoted to new roles while it has also recruited eight trainees, underlining the firm’s commitment to developing talent and expertise for the future.  

Completing their two-year solicitor traineeship with the firm are Bethany Buchanan, Emma Grunenberg, Fiona Knox, Faye Lipton, Paul Nash and Blythe Petrie who all qualified this month (September). 

Bethany and Paul will join the Corporate and Commercial team in Dundee and Glasgow while Emma, Fiona and Blythe will become part of the Private Client team in Aberdeen and Dundee. Faye will take up her role with the Family Law team, working across both the firm’s Dundee and Glasgow offices. 

Following the promotion of the newly qualified solicitors, Blackadders has also taken on eight new trainees. They include Annie McNamara, Ethan Laing, Charlie Fletcher, Freddy Waller, Katy Sharpe, Kirsty McAuley, Ruairidh McKillop and Sze Ki Lam who will work across the Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.

The eight new trainees take Blackadders total headcount to 231The firm has offices in Aberdeen, Arbroath, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
