Ecological Building Systems, a leading supplier of natural building products for sustainable construction, has appointed Edward (Ed) Anthony as Technical Specification Advisor.
Well known and highly respected within the Scottish construction industry, Ed brings over 20 years’ experience in building products and will represent Ecological Building Systems at this year’s BE-ST Fest in Glasgow, where professionals will have the opportunity to meet him and discuss sustainable building solutions.
Based in Scotland, Ed will work as part of Ecological Building Systems’ Technical Specification team, which has a network of specialist advisers working with architects, builders and homeowners across the UK.
Ed has a strong background in technical support, product management and business development. Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively with natural fibre insulation, airtightness solutions and thermal performance design, helping professionals deliver high-quality and sustainable buildings in Scotland.
In his new role, Ed will advise on technical specifications, evaluate customer drawings to optimise thermal performance and airtightness, deliver CPDs and provide both pre- and after-sales support. His work will help ensure that projects achieve high standards of energy efficiency and building performance.
