AUTOREK, a leading software provider for the financial services sector, has been recognised at the Scottish Fintech Awards for the second year running.

The Glasgow-headquartered company took home the RegTech Innovation award at the ceremony, which was held at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on Thursday, 12 October.

As well as RegTech Innovation, AutoRek was up for Fintech of the Year.

The win follows AutoRek’s success at last year’s awards, where it came away with the Payments Innovation award for its first-to-market safeguarding solution.

The awards were organised by DIGIT events and judged by a panel of nine independent judges from the industry.

Gordon McHarg, AutoRek founder, commented: “We are delighted to win the RegTech Innovation Award recognising our success and the long standing commitment of the team, delivering innovation in regulation and compliance.

McHarg also presented the award for Best Start Up, the category sponsored by AutoRek.

He continued: “As someone who has been in the business for quite a while, it was an honour to present the award to BabyReady Finance for Best Start Up at the awards ceremony.

“We’d also like to extend our thanks to DIGIT events and our congratulations to all the other category winners.”

The evening celebrates the development of the Scottish Financial Technology ecosystem, with awards categories recognising outstanding individual and organisational achievements within the sector.
