Zoho expands office and almost triples UK staff as it continues to drive growth and country investment

ZOHO, a leading global technology company, announces the expansion of its Bletchley-based UK office to house an almost triple increase in staff numbers, as it continues to invest in the market. Earlier this month Zoho reached a milestone unsurpassed by a bootstrapped SaaS company, announcing it has 100 million global users.

Zoho’s strategy in the UK focuses around its Transnational Localism programme, designed to provide local teams with in-country expertise to local customers to support their digital transformation and business growth, as well as to help create self-reliant local communities and economies. The team’s expansion further builds its customer-facing employee-base, with roles spanning across sales, customer support and marketing.

Zoho delivers innovative cloud software solutions to help its customers run their businesses, with 55+ apps in nearly every major business category, including sales, marketing, customer support, accounting and back office operations, and an array of productivity and collaboration tools.

Announced at Zoholics London, Zoho has introduced several new applications to help customers transform their businesses, including:

  • Zoho FSM, a comprehensive, powerful and cost-effective Field Service Management platform that helps customers to streamline field operations and elevate customer service. It has Android and IoS apps to aid field-based agents and seamlessly integrates with Zoho apps, and other third party apps through APIs
  • Route IQ for Zoho CRM, enabling salespeople to plot the most efficient route, based on their call locations. An interactive and dynamic map also enables field workers to visualise their Zoho CRM leads, deals, contacts, accounts, and filter prospects by specified criteria
  • Zoho Billing, a multifaceted billing solution built specifically for growing businesses, allowing users the flexibility to experiment with pricing and the ability to go to market swiftly which was recently announced

Zoho’s UK Managing Director, Sachin Agrawal, has been in the role for over a year and comments, “The UK has been one of Zoho’s biggest markets for many years. We are now driving further growth through building a stellar and robust team to bring local knowledge and expertise to help serve our customers more effectively. It is a critical part of our growth strategy to partner with customers and work hand in hand to enable them to digitally transform and improve their operations to meet their goals, overcome their challenges and drive further success for the long-term. Nobody can do this better than those who are close to the market and understand all the parameters within it.”

This includes the launch of marketing investment to support partners’ Go To Market initiatives in activities such as events and Zoho merchandise. Zoho has also enhanced staffing and streamlined pre-sales support processes to partners.

Agrawal adds, “Even though our UK customer base stretches back over fifteen years or more, there is still so much potential growth opportunity for Zoho – we’re still only really at the start of our journey here. We are seeing growing interest from larger businesses as our products continue to develop and we introduce more complex solutions for their needs. We look forward to embedding Zoho as a critical part of many more companies of all sizes and within all industries in the UK.”
