Joining Eleanor in the publicity department is PR Consultant Anna Gunn. An award winning former magazine editor at DC Thomson and internal communications specialist, Anna joins from global engineering firm Babcock International. She brings her creativity and feature writing skills to Volpa and will be responsible for helping to develop and deliver creative campaigns, secure coverage for clients and draft compelling web content.
A fully qualified chartered management accountant, Anne Brown takes up a position within Volpa’s operations team as company accountant. With her last role as company accountant at Investors in People Scotland, and prior to that roles with Trainline.com in Edinburgh and London, Anne brings a wealth of experience to the role. Anne’s appointment will be instrumental in driving the firm’s financial strategy to support growth ambitions over the coming years.
Tricia Fox, CEO of Volpa, commented: “This is a tremendously exciting time for Volpa, as we look to increase our growth and realise our ambitious expansion plans. We are currently the fastest growing agency in the Tayside region and we are now firming up plans to expand our “bricks and mortar” footprint geographically with a three year plan that will see us firmly established as one of Scotland’s largest independent agencies.
“The appointments of Anna, Eleanor and Anne bring us a step closer to achieving that goal. All of them bring valuable experience, different talents and expertise to the company which will enable us to provide a much strengthened offering to our clients, in addition to making sure the company’s operations are sufficiently robust to support our growth ambitions.”
Volpa is a full service marketing agency boasting dedicated publicity, creative and digital departments. Specialists in the tourism, hospitality and food and drink sectors, Volpa has experienced incredible success since it was founded by Tricia Fox in 2002. It has received a raft of awards over the years, including three times winner of the Scottish Event Award for Best Marketing Strategy. This year Tricia participated in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses scale up course aimed at supporting and developing high growth businesses in the UK.
